Hello,
I just found out that a bunch of illustrations I did a while back received an Society of Publication Designers (SPD) Merit Award in the “illustration: Entire Story” category. The publication was National Geographic Adventure magazine for an article entitled “Terrorists at the Tea Party” It will be included in the SPD PUB 44 Annual coming up in May.
Here are some of the spreads from the feature. Art director Dave McKenna put it all together and deserves most of the credit for how it turned out.
